Feelings Board

Help Haiti Heal includes a diverse group of volunteers, users, and visitors.  All of these comrades are experiencing their own, unique stress in the face of the catastrophic event that the earthquake in Haiti is.  The demands of helping and “being there” wear on all caregivers:  mental health specialists; healthcare providers; family; friends.  Witnesses to catastrophic events, even at a distance, experience their own trauma as they absorb what has happened through the media.

Support systems like Help Haiti Heal and all people have their own unique demands…computer overload, carpal tunnel, sleep-deprivation of the technical & goal-driven nature.

This page is a place to write how you feel…unabashedly and anonymously…a special kind of Discussion Board for people from all levels of involvement to explore their common and uncommon feelings…and, hopefully, to breathe & release some.

Please take care of yourselves as you care for others.  We are in this together.  Thank you all for all that you do.
