Population*: The communities’ golf course has been changed into a tent city by the US Army and now houses 50,000 to 80,000 Haitians.

A basic health care unit has just started working in this large camp where an estimated 80,000 people live.
   
Food and Water Locations: JAN 19 US Black Hawk helicopters assisted WFP to deliver nearly 13,000 Humanitarian Daily Rations (HDRs) to the Petionville Club distribution centre and Jacmel. WFP SITREP #19
   
Shelter Locations World Vision are planning the following distributions in Petionville
> for the 10th March:
>
> Juvenat Parc Acra : 1000 blankets, 1000 mosquito nets, 500 kitchen
> sets, 500 hygene kits
> Camp Bremont: 648 blankets, 648 mosquito nets, 324 kitchen sets, 324
> hygene kits
> Juvenat Terrain de’ENAF 2 : 890 blankets, 890 mosquito nets, 445
> kitchen sets, 445 hygene kits

    Jan 26 PORT-AU-PRINCE – Haitian police and civilian volunteers, assisted by the U.S. military distributed more than 43,800 hand-held radios self-powered radios at major distribution centers in Cité Soleil, the Presidential Palace, the Petionville Club and other affected areas throughout the city.
